Jonathan Little <p><strong>Sheila Christ</strong>: Prior to opening She.la, Sheila was “baptized” into the retail world during her high school days while working at Brandeis. She started in fragrances and accepted other opportunities at various cosmetics counters, including Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clinique. She went on to attend Creighton University, studying Political Science and was hired by an investment banking firm called First Corporate Finance. She held a number of different positions including running an investment brokerage division and then departing as an officer of the Company. After leaving <span class="caps">FCF</span>, she went on to join a prestigious national investment firm as a stock broker, but never forgot her life’s dream of being able to work in the fashion industry. She acquired her store in October 1998 and has never looked back, living the dream every day. She loves working with the public and trying to find <em><strong>the</strong></em> perfect item or wardrobe for women. Sheila has been married to Fred for 5 years and together they have a one year old son named Cameron, an 18 year old stepdaughter named Leila and a Pharaoh Hound named Ramsey. Sheila enjoys any type of sport; she boxes 4 times a week, loves tennis, yoga, running, lifting weights, biking and attending the batting cages! Something you may not know about Sheila is that she loves the &#8220;chase&#8221; of finding the newest fashion designer! In fact, she has been known to loose sleep in order to discover them! She works as the stores manager, which includes buying for the store and planning trunk shows. Ann knew she wanted to pursue a career in fashion at a very young age. While going to fashion school, she started working at The Limited. She then moved on to Casual Corner where she worked as a manager and merchandiser for eight years. Ann knows the ins and outs of the business as she owned her own successful boutique. Then after closing its doors in 2007, Ann was offered a position with She.la. What does Ann like most about working at She.la? She likes the people that she works with, the loyal clients and the variety; everyday is fun and different. Something that you might not know about Ann is that she comes from a family of 8, she grew up with three brothers and two sisters. Ann has a husband named Dan, three children, DJ, Devan, and Avery, and her dog named Max. She also spends time focusing on new client retention and is a liaison for the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Prior to working at She.la, Catherine spent time as a chef, a jeweler, make-up artist and museum curator. What does Catherine love about working at She.la? The people she works with, the clients are genuinely nice and very appreciative of the services that we provide. She loves to find the perfect outfit for a client because of the unique fabrics and quality designers that are represented at She.la. Something that you may not know about Catherine is that she has climbed pyramids in Egypt and has jumped out of an airplane. Catherine has a husband Matt, a 10 year old son named Simon as well as a Tortoise named Kelly and a Great Pyrenees Puppy named “Kitty”. Autumn graduated from Creighton University and prior to working for She.la, spent time working for Clinique Cosmetics. What does Autumn like most about working at She.la? She loves the clients, the quality merchandise, her co-workers and the atmosphere. Something that you may not know about Autumn is that she works for one of our clothing lines out of Canada called Zenobia. This allows her to travel several weeks out of the year and takes her around the country to present the clothing line in small boutiques and departments stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue. In her spare time, Autumn loves spending time with her 10 year old beagle named Zoe, traveling, cooking, reading, and a good episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm”.</p> <p><strong>Patty Kennedy</strong>: Patty has worked for She.la since 2005. She is an excellent sales associate and helps monitor retail traffic and trends. Patty has always enjoyed working retail and prior to working at She.la, was recruited to work for Tilly’s and Suttons. What does Patty love most about working at She.la? She loves the relaxed atmosphere, building relationships with our loyal customers and selling something that she has a passion for. Something that you may not know about Patty is that she practices Taekwondo. Tammy is our “behind the scenes” accounting and inventory guru, not to mention that she keeps all of the gals in check! We certainly could not get along without her. Prior to coming to work for She.la, Tammy worked for Envision Communications for 14 years. What does Tammy like most about her job: &#8220;Sheila is an exceptional business owner, and runs her business well!&#8221; Coming from a video production company, retail was a new experience for her and she loves that it is always a challenge and is constantly changing. She also loves the fun and friendly work environment. Something that you may not know about Tammy is that she spends a lot of her spare time working on the school board and is in her second year of being the president. Tammy has been married for almost 18 years to Ron. She has a son Ronnie who is 15 and a 12 year old daughter named Shelby. When she is not working, Tammy and her family spend time volunteering and giving back to the community. Jaime spent years doing other jobs, meanwhile dreaming of the day that she could do what she loved full time. That dream was realized in October when she was able to join the staff full time. What does she like most about working at She.la? Developing relationships with the loyal customers of She.la, seeing first hand what is going to be the hot trend for next season. Understanding and learning about each customer’s personal style.
