The military jacket – a HOT silhouette that is going to be cool forever! During Fashion Week, Rag & Bone’s collection was a parade of military coats, camouflage anoraks and field jackets with multiple pockets and gusseted cuffs.

The fixation with uniforms in popular fashion has a long history, tracing its contemporary lineage at least to the ’60s and serving for much of the subsequent decade as an emblem of antiwar protest. Kids of the ’70s wore military fashion because it was ironic.
